At the Paris Motor Show in 1972, Ferrari unveiled an entirely new car to the world. It was a fast, sleek and elegant 2+2 powered by the legendary VI2 engine, and was the most expensive series produced by Ferrari for 17 years.
The 365 GT/4 is the archetypal model of the 365/400 and 412 series (the longest production run of four-seat Ferrari models) with the famous V12 engine combined with a five-speed manual transmission.
The 365 GT4 2+2 is easily distinguished from its successors by its six taillights, 5-spoke 'Cromodora' alloy wheels and lack of a front spoiler.
Only 524 of them were produced between 1972 & 1976. Under the hood, Ferrari put a 4.4-liter V12 that produced 340 hp at 7000 rpm, making it the most powerful four-seater in the world at the time.

The Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 is the luxurious successor the Ferrari Daytona and still shares a lot of parts with the Daytona. For starters, the engines are the same. There are slight differences in the engines which make them just a little different. Unlike the 365 GT4 2+2 with side-mounted carburetors, the Daytona has downhill carburetors. The 365 GT4 2+2 is also roomier and more focused on comfort than the Daytona. This is due, for example, to the power steering that the 365 GT4 2+2 possesses, unlike the Daytona. The Daytona has a "transaxle. This means that it has the gearbox in the rear. The 365 GT4 2+2 does not have this, and thus does not need shift rods this gearbox shifts more smoothly and provides more space in the back of the car for the rear occupants. Besides these points, the models are very similar.

This is an extremely neat 1973 Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2. This example is in possession of a unique color combination of "Blu Ribot" versus a "Connolly leather Pelle beige" interior. On July 30, 1973 it walked off the assembly line at the factory as production number #117 with bodywork #81/GT. The original Italian-delivered Ferrari was delivered to Count Vittorio Ripa di Meana. He was a well-known and respected lawyer and politician in Italy. He lived at Piazza di Spagna in Rome. Yes, next to the Spanish Steps. In 1973, he had the Ferrari delivered through an official Ferrari dealer called Pedini Auto S.R.L. After all his years in Italy, it was registered on Dutch plates in late 2021. Here he has always been well maintained, which is also demonstrable with the available documentation. Also, the original stickers are still underneath in the engine compartment.

The classic Italian sports car is truly a pleasure to look at. This is partly due to the extremely clean and original paint, the color scheme, the luxurious interior, and much more. The interior has, as mentioned earlier, a "Connolly Pelle beige" leather upholstery. In addition, there is the black leather dashboard and the light brown leather headliner. These are all of very neat and also original quality and are the definition of a classic Ferrari. Very unique, is that the car is in possession of fully functioning dual air conditioning. This is available from both the front and rear seats. This is because of the 2 buttons for air conditioning. Also found behind, are 2 sunshades near the rear window. On the back of the front seats, there are also 2 speakers per seat. On the floor of the interior there are very neat brown mats / carpets present which together with the brown leather upholstery make a good combination.

The Ferrari drives, shifts and and brakes well and is just overall a pleasure to drive. It is all comfort merged with sportiness. The underside of the car is still nice and hard and can last a long time. Also, the engine and chassis are matching which makes this Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 so 'Matching Numbers'!

All documents are present, including original Italian documentation. For starters, there is the stamped Ferrari delivery booklet and Ferrari warranty booklet. In this you can see where the car was first delivered, where it was inspected and what happened to it. Besides this documentation, there are several invoices from Ferrari specialist Kroymans Automotive. In addition, there are other invoices. For the last year and a half, a total of about €25,000 has been spent on maintenance. This means that the Ferrari has been cared for extremely well and that it is really valuable. Besides these invoices, there is an original Ferrari owner's manual and a service/assistance booklet.

A truly classic and well maintained Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 for a true enthusiast.
